Shit Talking

This post will be literally talking about my bowel movements so you've been warned.

One of the funny things they don't really talk about is how chemotherapy affects your bowel movements. In the same morning you can go from feeling constipated with hard to pass pellet type stool to large normal movements.

I did some quick research into it and basically it's a number of factors including varying levels of hydration throughout the day before, some changes to your colon and intestines from the drugs interacting with your system, and how you're eating during all this because some of the meds like the anti-nausea stuff can cause you to eat more while other meds may cause you to lose your appetite.

The long short of it is that it's a pretty wild and uncomfortable ride every morning as you move between the two extremes.
